* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the vehicle fleet, ensuring optimal utilization and efficiency.
* Manage vehicle procurement, leasing, and disposal in line with company policies and budgets.
* Schedule and monitor routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs to minimize downtime.
* Track fuel usage, mileage, and overall operating costs to identify areas for savings and improvement.
* Ensure compliance with all transport, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Maintain accurate records of fleet activity, insurance, and licensing documentation.
* Manage relationships with suppliers, service providers, and drivers.
* Develop and implement fleet policies, procedures, and performance standards.
* Prepare reports and analyses on fleet performance, cost efficiency, and vehicle condition.
* Support driver recruitment, training, and performance monitoring to promote safety and professionalism.
