Further Information Shape the future of family support in Stockton
Lead the way in transforming family support in Stockton!
We are launching a new integrated Family Help Front Door service and are seeking social workers to play a pivotal role in establishing this innovative approach.
Our new front door will work with families at the earliest opportunity through family help services, while supporting partners to make effective referrals when children require targeted or safeguarding responses. You’ll be part of a multi-agency team in our modern riverside offices, collaborating to deliver real impact.
What you’ll do:
1. Screen and triage contacts to ensure timely, effective multi-agency responses.
2. Provide advice and consultation to families and professionals.
3. Work collaboratively with partners to improve referral quality and understanding of thresholds.
4. Use strengths-based and systemic approaches to reduce risk and prevent escalation.
5. Maintain compliance with Social Work England standards.
What you’ll bring:
6. Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration (which we cover)
7. Strong analytical and risk assessment skills.
8. Excellent communication and relationship-building ability.
9. Commitment to continuous professional development.
