Would you like to work with children and adolescents, supporting them to reach their goals? An opportunity has arisen for a Pharmacist with a strong commitment to patient care to work within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) within GG&C primarily within ADHD clinics but with the potential to develop into other areas as the service develops.
As a valued member of the multidisciplinary team you will manage a cohort of patients with ADHD, running autonomous clinics with regular clinical supervision from a senior pharmacist. You will also be responsible for the direct supervision of junior pharmacists, clinical technicians and trainees within the team. You will be expected to develop in the role and widen your input over time as the service evolves.
You will ideally have at least two years clinical experience, preferably in hospital practice and mental health pharmacy and must either already be an independent prescriber or in the process of becoming one. Candidates with a keen interest in mental health, relevant pharmacy experience and already an independent prescriber/or in the process of becoming one are also encouraged to apply.
You will be registered with the GPhC and be working towards or completed Post-registration Foundation training. Some travel between sites will be necessary.
Post can be 1 full time or 2 part time positions
