Private Client Paralegal
Location: Grantham
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

The Role
The firm is seeking a dedicated and proactive Paralegal to join its respected Private Client team in Grantham. You’ll work closely with experienced fee earners on a variety of matters including wills, probate, trusts, and estate administration, playing a vital role in ensuring smooth and effective client service.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support the preparation and progression of private client files
2. Draft legal documents and correspondence accurately and efficiently
3. Communicate professionally with clients, colleagues, and third parties
4. Assist with file opening, closing, and ongoing management in line with compliance standards
5. Undertake legal research to support casework
6. Manage diaries, schedules, and client meetings
7. Provide administrative support across the Private Client team
8. Attend client meetings where appropriate

About You

9. Experience as a Paralegal, ideally within Private Client or a similar practice area
10. Excellent IT and case management system skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
11. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
12. Confident communicator with a professional and empathetic approach
13. Ability to prioritise tasks and work both independently and as part of a team
14. A legal qualification (e.g. LLB, LPC, CILEx) is advantageous but not essential
