A forward-thinking secondary school in Enfield is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support to students with additional needs. This is a long-term role starting immediately and running through to July 2026. Day-to-day responsibilities: Supporting students with special educational needs in lessons and around the school Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions to help pupils meet their learning goals Helping teachers adapt lessons and resources for accessibility Encouraging independence and building students' confidence We're looking for someone who is: Patient, empathetic, and able to build strong relationships with young people Experienced in working with children (SEN experience is desirable but not essential) Keen to learn and open to training opportunities The school is known for its inclusive ethos and well-resourced SEN department, making this the ideal place to gain valuable experience before pursuing further study in education, psychology, or SEN teaching.
