iO Associates are partnered with a specialist secure ICT provider supporting the UK Defence and Security sector, currently looking to hire Service Operations Engineer to join their growing operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 2nd line support across hardware, software, networking, and cloud
* Troubleshoot and resolve incidents within SLAs, supporting 1st line as escalation
* Monitor systems, manage patching, and implement changes
* Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on complex issues
Key Requirements:
* 2+ years in IT support / Service Desk (ideally MSP)
* Strong Windows, Microsoft 365, and basic networking knowledge
* Exposure to virtualisation (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud (Azure/AWS)
* Familiarity with ITIL and ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
Security Requirements:
Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance + DV Clearance. No sponsorship available.
