Job Introduction
Are you organized, proactive, and possess excellent customer service skills? We are recruiting a Facilities Administrator for a temporary 6-month position at Castle Donington, supporting the Facilities team under the supervision of the Facilities Co-ordinator. The role involves a variety of administrative tasks including front-of-house duties, meeting room management, and contractor monitoring.
Applicants should have experience as an Administrator and/or Facilities role and hold GCSEs with Grade A*-C/4-9 or equivalent. Evidence of qualifications will be required prior to appointment.
Main Responsibilities
* Receive, sort, and distribute mail.
* Purchase and issue stationery, coordinate orders.
* Maintain noticeboards and ensure timely circulation of information.
* Arrange repairs and maintenance of buildings and equipment.
* Handle customer inquiries.
* Coordinate, organize, and record contractor, visitor, and tenant identity cards.
* Manage access control systems and CCTV/alarm repairs.
* Book meeting rooms.
* Maintain record systems related to Facilities.
* Raise and process purchase orders and invoices.
* Support contract performance reviews and budget management.
* Manage reception area as required.
* Participate in contract review meetings.
* Assist with environmental standards and emergency preparedness.
* Support operational budgets and ensure compliance with controls.
* Provide cover for the Facilities Co-ordinator as needed.
You should have excellent customer service and communication skills, a good telephone manner, attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to work independently. Flexibility and occasional travel to other facilities may be required. Knowledge of systems like E5, CROWN, or CAD would be advantageous.
