We're supporting a leading investment business in Nottingham City Centre to recruit a
Financial Accountant

What you'll be doing
• Taking ownership of monthly accounts, ensuring accuracy across reconciliations, journals, and reporting packs
• Helping to deliver quarterly reporting and performance analysis to support decision-making
• Playing a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management
• Working closely with colleagues across the business to provide insight and commentary, with plenty of exposure to non-finance stakeholders
• Getting involved in year-end processes, including statutory accounts, audit preparation, and tax support
• Building knowledge in the renewable energy sector, with direct involvement in live projects and assets
What we're looking for
• A part-qualified or finalist accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) with a solid grounding in financial accounting
• Strong technical skills, particularly in Excel, with the ability to work confidently with data
• Experience of statutory accounts is highly valued
• Someone proactive, organised, and keen to take on responsibility in a fast-moving environment
The package
• Up to £40,000 base salary
• 10% annual bonus
• 25 days holiday (increasing each year up to 30)
