About the Finance Manager Job In this Finance Manager Job, youll be responsible for leading a team of six in Purchase Ledger, making sure supplier payments and day-to-day transactions run smoothly. Youll take ownership of accruals, prepayments, VAT and reconciliations, while also overseeing treasury and cash management. Youll manage high-volume accounts payable across multiple ledgers, work on supplier relationships, and make sure processing targets are met. Alongside this, youll support the preparation of management accounts, assist with audit processes and cashflow forecasting, and look for ways to improve systems and processes. This is a busy, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Youll have the chance to shape the way the team operates and to contribute to wider projects as the business continues to grow and evolve. The Requirements Experience managing and developing a team. Strong knowledge of purchase ledger, treasury, and cashflow management. Comfortable working with high-volume accounts payable. Hands-on with Excel (pivots, lookups, sorting data). Experience with SAGE 200 and MS Dynamics 365 (or similar systems). Proactive, collaborative and confident in a fast-paced setting. Strong communicator, able to build relationships with suppliers and colleagues at all levels. Benefits Salary £45,000£50,000, dependent on experience. Hybrid working (approx. 4 days in the office).
