SEMH Teaching Assistant
Location: Northampton
Salary: £90-£101 per day
Start: ASAP (Temp to Perm)
The School and Role
This position is based at a Primary Pupil Referral Unit (PRU), a specialist setting for children who are currently unable to attend mainstream education due to behavioural or emotional difficulties. The role involves supporting pupils to re-engage with learning, develop positive behaviour, and reach their full potential in a nurturing and structured environment.
Responsibilities
* Support pupils to re-engage with learning in a PRU setting.
* Foster positive behaviour and a supportive learning environment.
* Work as part of a team to meet pupils’ needs and progress.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience of working with school-aged children.
* Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
* Passion for the progress of primary school pupils.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
