Your new role
Hays is working with a growing business in Skipton. This role is key to driving client satisfaction and supporting the expansion of their services. You’ll be responsible for managing client requests, resolving issues promptly, and identifying opportunities to deepen engagement within client organisations. By coordinating cross-functional activities and helping to develop tailored client solutions, you’ll play an important part in introducing our innovative offerings to new stakeholders.
As the link between operations and account management, you’ll ensure clearmunication and alignment of project delivery with client expectations. You’ll also contribute to administrative tasks such as preparing professional proposals and maintaining an accurate CRM system to enhance transparency and efficiency.

What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in account management, customer success, or a related client-facing role, ideally in a technical or data-driven environment.
Strong interpersonal andmunication skills, with confidence engaging both internal teams and external clients.
Full valid clean UK driving licence.
Exceptional organisational abilities, capable of balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Proficiency in preparing proposals, contracts, and Statements of Work.
Ability to identify growth opportunities and effectively upsell services.
Familiarity with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of the local authority sector is desirable.
Results-driven with a client-focused mindset.
Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
