Job description
The Team Leader provides comprehensive operational support and contributes to the strategic growth of the Real Estate sub-team. You will manage a defined group of Paralegals or Apprentices aligned to one of the Firms clients or practice groups.
Work Allocation & Operational Management
* Allocate resources to client instructions and manage team capacity
* Oversee efficient delivery and quality of work, including training and development
* Maintain quality assurance processes
* Scope and manage significant fee earning projects
* Report on daily and weekly team operations
Line Management
* Lead a team of Apprentices, Paralegals, and Senior Paralegals
* Manage individual and team development plans
* Coach, motivate, and provide regular feedback
* Work with the Leadership Team on performance management and resourcing
Team Growth
* Develop aligned groups and promote new business opportunities
* Engage with fee earners and partners
* Contribute to the development of the sub-team and wider TST
* Analyse and improve ways of working
Required profile
Applicants must have experience in Real Estate legal work or supervision/people management. Understanding of Land Registry and SDLT processes is desirable, with training provided as needed. Strong communication, team management, and multitasking skills are essential.
