My client is a leading international technical engineering and construction partner operating across the UK, Ireland, and Mainland Europe. Main Duties and Responsibilities for the Planner:
1. Develop detailed baseline/master programs in Primavera P6 based on client requirements and secure approval from clients/engineers.
2. Create tender programs aligned with project requirements.
3. Integrate cost and resource loading into the program.
4. Generate manpower histograms, KPIs, SPI, CPI, S-curves, and cash flow forecasts.
5. Monitor project progress, update schedules weekly, and report potential delays, risks, and corrective actions.
6. Conduct critical path and float analysis and develop recovery strategies for schedule risks.
7. Coordinate with clients, vendors, project managers, and stakeholders for timely information flow.
8. Attend weekly meetings with clients and stakeholders.
9. Manage schedule impacts from project changes and communicate risks.
10. Utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) to track performance and generate reports.
11. Ensure adherence to industry standards and conduct program health checks.
12. Review subcontractor schedules and prepare site look-ahead and construction schedules.
13. Track design progress, procurement status, and long-lead items.
14. Prepare Time Impact Analyses (TIA) and Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
15. Develop target and mitigation programs for delays to meet project objectives.
16. Prepare and issue weekly and monthly reports for clients and management.
17. Mentor junior planners and promote process improvements.
18. Execute additional project tasks as instructed by the Project Director.
