About the Role:
Eaton Syalon is working with a Derby-based business to recruit a Temporary Credit Control Officer to join their finance team. The role will focus on managing aged debt, ensuring timely collections, and providing accurate financial information to the finance team and wider business as needed. The successful candidate will be expected to hit the ground running, making headway on outstanding balances and maintaining excellent customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage customer accounts and proactively follow up on overdue invoices.
2. Contact customers via phone, email, and written correspondence to recover outstanding balances.
3. Resolve payment queries or disputes efficiently, escalating where necessary.
4. Maintain accurate records of collections activity in the finance system.
