Offer description

NHS HIGHLAND
Cowal Community Hospital
Rural Emergency Practitioner
40 Hours per week
£122,891 - £147,522 per annum pro rata
Cowal Community Hospital in Dunoon presents the unique opportunity to have a fantastically varied job as a GP Rural Practitioner but only a "whisper" away from central Scotland.

Drawing on the success of Rural Practitioner models in other areas of Highland, several posts including a clinical lead role and a sexual health role are available in order to create a dynamic team to integrate, lead and innovate the delivery of high quality services for the Cowal Community.

You have the opportunity to make a difference, have your say, help design, shape and facilitate the services in this period of reform. We are looking for GPs who want a hands-on, varied, challenging, stimulating and vital role who can embrace a level of responsibility beyond that of an urban GP and find satisfaction in serving a close knit community.

Dunoon, Cowal and Argyll's secret coast have been successful in establishing themselves as leading areas for outdoor pursuits and wellbeing; these Rural Practitioner posts offer the prospect of both professional and personal fulfilment.

Full time posts, negotiable for part-time/shared working.
