Job purpose is to supervise Team Leaders & Production Operators to Convert Vehicles to schedule. Role Summary The role is responsible for planning, organising, and controlling production resources to meet customer requirements efficiently and effectively. This includes monitoring key performance indicators such as cost, quality, delivery, housekeeping, and attendance, ensuring compliance with company standards and health and safety regulations. The position leads and develops a team to achieve high levels of performance, motivation, and engagement, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. The role holder actively drives initiatives to optimise processes, reduce costs, and enhance equipment utilisation. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, with the ability to adapt to different audiences, build productive working relationships, and confidently handle challenging situations. The individual is expected to lead by example, promote teamwork, encourage innovation, and maintain a strong sense of urgency to ensure progress and delivery of key objectives. Pay and Benefits £21 - £23 per hour depending on experience Full time contract Tyre purchase scheme Tool purchase scheme Mental Health and Wellbeing Scheme Employee Assistance Program Newly built workshop Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Plan and organise production resources in order to meet customer requirements. Monitor and control production key performance indicators of cost, quality, delivery, housekeeping, absence etc in accordance with company requirements. Support and drive continuous improvement activities in order to optimise costs, equipment and processes. Leadership of direct reports, building effective teams, develop motivation and commitment, maintain morale and action all disciplinary issues. Ensure compliance with policies and procedures of the company including Health and Safety. Behavioural Skills Lead from the front, setting an example of high performance, commitment and flexibility. Adapt your communication style to different situations/audiences presenting a professional image at all times. Build and maintain effective working relationships with your peers. Explain/present your requirements in a way that people clearly understand and gain buy-in. Handle difficult situations confidently. Reason with information in response to questioning and present answers Keep up to date with legislative and best practice changes. Generate new ideas, processes and practices to make the company more efficient. Continuously review processes and make suggestions of potential improvements. Maintain a sense of pace and urgency so that new initiatives and projects do not stagnate. You actively build relationships. You promote team decision making through participation.
