About The Role
Support Worker - Ty George, Bridgend - Full Time - Hourly Rate from £12.60 to £12.80 per hour for 39 hours per week (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Priority Childcare provides real support from real people. We are focused on the future, and our small and welcoming homes are staffed by teams of supportive carers who build trusting relationships with children and young people. and enable them to feel safe, secure, and cared for. We care for children and young people who have support needs associated with social, emotional and mental health difficulties, and work with them to help them meet their full potential and transition towards independence.
A day in the life of a Support Worker at Priority Childcare includes:
Providing high quality care to the children and young people we support.
Ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment.
Being a positive role model.
Promoting independence by supporting a range of social, school and work-based activities.
Working together to ensure support is tailored to meet individual needs.
Keeping accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents should they arise.
General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation.You’ll need:
A can-do attitude, resilient nature.
Previous care experience preferred but not essential.
To hold a current valid driver’s license - please note the service is location in a remote location and there is no public transport near the service. It would require driving down some very narrow country lanes to get to the service.

The ability to work flexibly.
To be reliable.
