Job Title : Systems Co-ordinator Furniture & FloorcoveringsLocation: KetteringSalary: £25000Shifts : Monday to Friday dayshift (37.5)We have a vacancy for a Systems Co-ordinator based in the Furniture and Floorcoverings business areas.The Furniture & Floorcoverings department is an international centre of excellence for testing, training, consultancy, and innovation. The team works closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and retailers of furniture, flooring, and their components, helping them ensure their products are fit for purpose and safe to use.We are currently seeking a Systems Co-ordinator to support the maintenance and development of the QMS and health and safety systems within the department.Key ResponsibilitiesFollowing appropriate training, the successful candidate will be responsible for:Maintaining and improving record-keeping of quality-related documentation (e.g. calibration certificates, equipment maintenance records, certificates of conformity, gap analysis, software validations)Performing calibrations, drift analysis, risk assessments, witnessed assessments, and uncertainty of measurement budgets to agreed deadlinesManaging check testing and participation in inter-laboratory trialsSupporting the Business Area Managers with the annual UKAS audit, including auditor coordination and organising improvement action evidenceCo-ordinating ISO 17025 accreditation schedule extensions to scope where applicableAssisting in the creation and maintenance of standard operating proceduresCollaborating with the Health, Safety & Environmental Manager and other senior staff to ensure H&S complianceMaintaining personal training and competency recordsPurchasing and verifying standard materialsCompleting COSHH records where applicableAbout You - EssentialLaboratory experience, or A-levels (or equivalent) in a science-based subject or MathematicsHigh accuracy and excellent attention to detailHighly motivated, reliable, and flexible in approach, with the ability to adapt to changing prioritiesAble to follow instructions and procedures accuratelyCapable of working independently in an organised and structured mannerStrong verbal and written communication skillsGood time management skillsProficient in Microsoft OfficeGood teamworking and interpersonal skillsUnderstanding of working within a quality systemStrong problem-solving skillsDesirableExperience in implementing and maintaining quality control/management systems such as ISO 17025 or ISO 9001Knowledge of Health & Safety proceduresQuick to learn new skillsCustomer-focused approachExperience in problem-solving in a technical environmentBenefits2530 days annual leave (dependent on service)Life assuranceGroup personal pension planIncome protectionFree on-site parkingInterested?
