Location: SSC, General Buildings, 31-33 Newport Road, Cardiff, CF24 0AB
Hourly rate: £15.53
OFFICE BASED
Working Days/Hours: Monday to Saturday: 8am - 6pm - 5 days a week. On a rota basis sometimes a mix of shifts in a week. 1 / 2 Saturdays per month

List the duties/ responsibilities:
The SSC Executive Officer will primarily be expected to conduct Asylum Registration tasks. This includes conducting checks on customers seeking Asylum, updating systems, interviewing customers and serving documentation. This list is not exhaustive, and the job holder may also be trained in other work areas. The job holder will undertake comprehensive training for each workstream and managed in accordance with Home Office HR policies.
No inbound telephony, potential outbound telephony, however this is on an ad-hoc basis
Training:
2 weeks training period. Please note that no annual leave will be permitted in the 2 weeks.
Clearance level (to be applied for by Brook Street upon a successful application):
DBS + CTC
Role specific requirements:
You must hold a valid passport and must have lived in the UK for longer than 5 years. Please note that period of 6 months or longer spent outside of the UK in the last 5 years will unfortunately not be accepted. This role requires security clearance that will be processed for you, if successful.
