Qualifications:
To become a building surveyor, you typically need at least 4 GCSEs grades A-C (9-4) and 2 A Levels or BTEC equivalent.
Level 3: Study a BTEC Subsidiary or Extended Diploma in Construction & the Built Environment or an Advanced Level 3 Apprenticeship in Surveying & Property Maintenance.
Level 4, 5 & 6: Study a HNC, HND, Higher Apprenticeship or Degree in Construction and the Built Environment, Building Surveying, or related subjects.
Salary:
* Newly trained building surveyors can earn £19,000 - £25,000
* Trained surveyors with some experience can earn £25,000 - £35,000
