The IT Supplier Performance Manager will oversee the organisation's relationships with technology suppliers and work to make sure their performance supports the seamless provision of quality products and services. This is a brand-new role and the successful applicant will have the creative freedom to make this role their own and define the future of our supplier management and governance strategy.
They will work closely with colleagues who handle ordering, invoicing, contract renewals, and customer concerns to formalise responsibilities and finding opportunities to streamline workflows and improve supplier management practices.

This hybrid role offers an opportunity for a great work life balance with a flexible arrangements for on-site visits on average only once a week, depending on the needs of the role. There may also be a shared responsibility across the team for the occasional out of hours or on call work in the future.
What you'll be doing:
* Holding regular service review meetings to assess performance, maintain strong working relationships, and make sure service expectations are met.
* Challenging supplier underperformance when necessary and driving corrective actions through the implementation of improvement plans.
* Designing, implementing, and documenting structured supplier management.
* Coordinating supplier governance by ensuring compliance with contracts and verifying that internal processes are followed consistently.
* Contributing to supplier onboarding efforts as a reviewer and advisor, particularly during the selection of new products and technologies.
* Creating and maintaining a comprehensive document library for contracts, service records, and governance materials.
* Reviewing tenders for large contract renewals in partnership with procurement and finance teams.
What you'll bring:
* Demonstrable experience of building and maintaining relationship with a large supplier base.
* Commercial awareness of working in large-scale operations.
* Strong negotiation experience with evidenced persuading and influencing skills.
* Experience of implementing supplier management and governance processes.
* A deep understanding of working within ITIL 4 framework.
