Senior Planner
Location: Longfield, Kent
Are you an ambitious Town Planner ready to take the next step in your career? Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a prestigious and award-winning housebuilder in their search for a Senior Planner to join their growing team in Longfield, Kent.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected and design-led developer with a strong pipeline of projects across the South East. You will play a key role in guiding schemes from inception through to delivery, working closely with the in-house land, design and technical teams, as well as external consultants.
The Role:
Manage and prepare planning applications and appeals.
Provide strategic planning advice across a diverse range of residential-led developments.
Engage with local planning authorities, stakeholders, and communities.
Support land acquisition by assessing planning opportunities and constraints.
Contribute to the ongoing growth of the business by identifying planning risks and opportunities.Requirements:
MRTPI chartered (or working towards).
3+ years' post-graduate experience within consultancy, housebuilding, or local authority.
Strong knowledge of the planning system, particularly residential-led development.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
