Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for sales of all Masimo products in assigned territory.
2. Plan and execute strategies to convert accounts (single departments and/or entire hospitals, including ED, general floors, critical care, and theatres) to use Masimo products in a highly competitive market.
3. Engage in selling activities, including qualification, demonstrations, and closing deals for both competitive and exclusive products, positioning Masimo’s technology as the new standard of care in pulse oximetry, non-invasive parameters, and our automation platform (Medical Device Integration, In-hospital remote monitoring, Virtual Hospital remote monitoring).
4. Ability to conduct product demonstrations and negotiations with clinical, operational, and financial teams (bio-medical engineers, divisional managers, purchasing managers, etc.).
5. Partner with distributors and OEM sales personnel in planning and executing sales strategies to convert accounts.
6. Provide market intelligence to upper management, including trends, competitive activity, product design needs, regulatory, and production requirements.
7. Participate in hospital bid tenders.
8. Maintain thorough product knowledge, including product demonstrations, positioning vs. competitors, and in-service training for end-users.
9. Provide regular sales forecasts to upper management.
10. Manage expense budgets for all activities.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education level.
* Proven track record in selling disposable products and capital equipment to hospitals, with the ability to communicate value-based solutions.
* At least three years of Medical Device Sales experience, with knowledge of Patient Monitoring systems and hospital digital systems highly advantageous.
* Experience in direct selling within highly competitive markets.
* Experience engaging with clinical and non-clinical departments (bio-medical engineers, purchasing managers).
* Experience collaborating with Distributors and OEM sales personnel.
* Strong conceptual, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
* Digital-first and innovation-minded.
* Results-oriented with a positive attitude and a sense of urgency.
* Comfortable in high-visibility situations, exhibiting strong self-confidence.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead group presentations.
* Self-starter, hands-on, enjoys challenges, and can work independently with minimal support, accustomed to heavy travel.
* Must be PC literate, especially in Excel and BI tools, with excellent organizational, communication, writing, and project management skills.
