Languages Teacher – Dorset

A well-regarded secondary school in Dorset is looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Languages Teacher to join their team as soon as possible on a full-time basis.
The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality Spanish and French lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop strong linguistic abilities, cultural understanding, and confidence in both spoken and written communication.
Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and teaching engaging French and Spanish lessons for pupils in Years 7–11
* Adapting teaching approaches to meet the needs of learners of all abilities
* Building positive relationships with students through effective communication and high expectations
* Contributing to enrichment activities that support and enhance the languages curriculum
* Maintaining a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
The ideal candidate will have:
* A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, or equivalent)
* Experience teaching Spanish and French at secondary level
* A flexible and proactive approach to classroom practice
* Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
* A genuine enthusiasm for language learning
