Interested in Making a Difference?
You will be placed within an NHS service, receiving direct referrals for individuals with low to medium mental health support needs, often dealing with anxiety or depression. Your role also involves assisting those who are currently employed and seeking new opportunities.
What You’ll Do
* Engage in approximately 19 one-on-one meetings each week.
* 5 meetings with newcomers to assess needs and develop personalized support plans.
* 14 sessions providing advice and guidance on CV writing, job searching, interview techniques, and facilitating group workshops.
* Each client will receive 4 sessions with you; focus is on either supporting them to stay in their current role or securing the next right opportunity.
Who We’re Looking For
To apply, ideally you will have experience in supporting individuals with mental health support needs in some capacity. Alternatively, you might be a recent graduate with a relevant degree (such as psychology) looking to take your first step on the career ladder. Your background could include roles as a support worker, hostel worker, recruitment consultant, employment advisor, job coach, or residential support worker.
It is important to note the emphasis is on employment support, as opposed to mental health support.
