We are committed to helping learners aged 1624 overcome socio-economic barriers and develop personal, life, and vocational skills to achieve their career aspirations. Role Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic Youth Development Coach to join our Youth Work Team. The successful candidate will design and deliver life skills and personal development programmes to unplaced learners as part of our Make an Impact programme. You will also work closely with the Vocational Experiences Team to promote work placements and establish partnerships with external agencies to support programme delivery. Key Responsibilities Design and deliver life skills and personal development sessions for learners. Promote work placements and vocational experiences in collaboration with the Vocational Experiences Team. Develop and maintain partnerships with community organisations, youth providers, health & fitness groups, and other specialist agencies. Manage allocated budgets in consultation with the Youth Work Team Lead. Create and maintain individualised personal development plans to track learner progress. Support learners facing personal, social, or educational challenges using a person-centred approach. Contribute to the design and facilitation of new programmes based on learner needs and emerging trends. Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality standards. Participate in professional development to maintain relevant skills and knowledge. Promote the organisations services and adhere to health, safety, and housekeeping standards. Carry out other reasonable duties as required by line management. Essential Criteria Professional qualification in Youth Work, Community Development, or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years experience (within the last 5 years) working with young people in training, teaching, youth work, facilitation, or mentoring roles. Desirable Criteria Qualification in outdoor pursuits or health, fitness, or sports-related activities. Established networks with agencies, community providers, and youth organisations. Understanding of current social trends and barriers affecting young people. Experience motivating and supporting learners, including those with neurodiverse needs or disabilities.
