Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team in Barnsley. This is a full-time, ongoing contract role where you will be responsible for working on domestic properties. You will be working in void and tenanted properties covering repairs and maintenance to Kitchens and Bathrooms.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of substrates, including removing loose and flaking paint
2. Apply coatings by brush, roller or spray applications
3. Safe use and application of materials
4. Working both internally and externally
5. Set out, line and hang wallpaper and decorative hangings
6. Maintain vehicle stock levels at optimum level
7. To submit all worksheets and documents relating to jobs
Requirements:
8. NVQ Level 2 or Equivalent in Painting and Decorating
9. Driving Licence & Own Transport
10. Previous experience in domestic properties
