As aBMXCycling Coach,welllook to you to deliver high-quality, rider-focused coaching across BMX.Youllcoach anyone from school children to corporate groups and experienced riders at all levels. Youwill bea strong teamplayer, planning and delivering effective coachingsessions.Advocating best practices, keeping up to date with the latest developments, and regularly reviewing your performance while pursuing continual professional development will form key parts of your role.
Whatyoulldo:
* Deliver coaching acrossthe different BMXdisciplines ranging from balance bike and Bikeability through to elite competency.
* Deliver coaching including the complete in-house programme, including accreditation, skills sessions, club andschool'sbookings, corporate packages, and other coached activities.
* Lead and guide casual and volunteer coaches in delivery as part ofa strong teamunit in conjunction with the Lead Coach.
* Liaise with the management team to ensure that the highest safety standards are met in terms of venue infrastructure, hire equipment, and coaching protocol.
What you need:
* British Cycling CoachingLevel 2award (or equivalent)inBMX.
* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team within a coaching remit.
* Ensure all statutory requirements (e.g. Health & Safety, Child Protection, Environmental Health requirements) are adhered to in delivering the coached sessions.
* Hold a relevant First Aid certificate.
* Owing to the nature of this position, any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
* Flexible availability is essential to this role, as you will be working regular evening and weekend shifts.
