You'll act as the crucial link between stakeholders and technical teams-shaping requirements, guiding delivery, and ensuring solutions align with business goals. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on collaboration, problem-solving, and delivering impactful digital change. What You'll Do Work with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into clear, actionable specifications. Analyse data, assess processes, and provide insight-driven recommendations. Create functional designs, process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria and documentation. Lead impact assessments across multiple business streams. Support major implementations and ensure operational readiness. Contribute to change management activities including comms and training. Collaborate closely with UX designers, developers, testers, and architects. Participate in Agile ceremonies and help shape the product backlog. Identify technical constraints, risks, and dependencies. Coach and support junior analysts when required. Skills & Experience: 1.5-5 years as a Business Analyst in a software or technology environment. Strong analytical skills and confidence in customer-facing scenarios. Experience producing high-quality BA artefacts using industry-standard techniques. Skilled in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) or Waterfall methods. Ability to write clear user stories and functional requirements. Good understanding of APIs, databases, and system integration. Solid SQL skills for data validation and analysis. Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio or Excel. Familiarity with cloud environments or emerging technologies such as GenAI. Experience in public sector projects is beneficial. Basic understanding of UX or wireframing tools (e.g., Figma, Balsamiq).
