The Role
This is an exciting new opportunity for a Theatre Administrative Assistant based within the Theatre Department at UHH. Please refer to the attached role profile for further details on the key responsibilities of the post.
In this key role, you will:
* Provide secretarial and administrative support to the integrated team including the use of audio typing (Winscribe) and the use of management information systems and email to facilitate the smooth and effective running of the service.
* Manage all aspects of document retrieval, filing and bring forward systems and to maintain the database, therefore ensuring that standards of protocol and accuracy are achieved, thus ensuring the availability of up‑to‑date and accurate information at all times on patient status in respect of prescribing regime/management.
* Daily input to the clinical information systems (MIDIS) and prescribing system (Vision) in respect of all changes to prescribing levels and new referrals, to assist in the smooth, efficient running of the addiction prescribing service. The efficient and effective use of the PC and relevant software packages to produce work to a high standard and to ensure that accurate information is available at all times (eg Microsoft Office Packages, MIDIS, Vision, DAISy, SWIS,SDMD, TrakCare, SCI Gateway)
What You’ll Bring
* SVQIII in Secretarial Studies/Business Administration plus previous experience in an Administrative and Clerical role.
* Educated to Higher Grade level.
* Well developed interpersonal skills in customer care.
* Excellent communication skills.
