About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teacher
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire young minds and contribute to our continued success in delivering exceptional education.
Day to day supply, or regular days, also temp to perm opportunities
Monday-Friday 5 days a week 8.30-8.30pm
Person specification:
* Have experience of different classes and age groups, secondary SEN
* Experience of supporting children and young people struggle to manage their emotions, behaviour, and relationships, which can impact their learning and overall well-being Be able to get to know pupils and get a good understanding of needs.
* Excellent communication skills, Empathetic and Patient, being self-regulated and calm. With a positive supportive attitude.
* Knowledge of SEMH Understanding of SEMH issues, strategies, and interventions.
* Be able to interact well with pupils and staff and able to work well as a team.
* Able to provide a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3-5
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
* Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
* Support students' personal and academic development
* Participate in whole-school activities and events
* Maintain high standards of classroom management and student behaviour
* Work collaboratively with colleagues across the department and wider school
Essential Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Proven experience teaching at secondary level
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* Commitment to high educational standards and student achievement
* Ability to differentiate learning for students of all abilities
