Shift: Monday : Friday days
Location: Bristol
Salary: GBP 45,000 : GBP 52,500 (depending on qualifications) + Van, FC + Overtime (paid at 1.5X) OTE GBP 60,000 + / Starting salaries are as follows : Non:IRTEC qualified : GBP 18 p/h ( GBP 44,928 p/a), Upon successful probation completion increased to GBP 18.90 p/h ( GBP 47,174.40 p/a). IRTEC qualified : GBP 18.90 p/h ( GBP 47,174.40 p/a), Upon successful probation completion increased to GBP 21 p/h ( GBP 52,416 p/a).

Mobile HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter opportunity
Due to increased business levels our specialist fleet maintenance company is looking to add an additional mobile HGV technician to the team. As a mobile HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitteryou will be based from home covering Bristol and the surrounding area. Industry leading training is offered from day 1 to include 2 weeks in an office environment and 1 week shadowing with an existing mobile HGV Technician/Mechanic / Fitter.

Duties of the Mobile HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter
: Perform a variety of routine servicing, inspections and subsequent repairs to a variety of commercial vehicles in and around Bristol
: Perform visual or operational checks to locate worn, dirty or maladjusted parts.
: Carry out technical inspections or use technical manuals and diagnostic techniques to find and repair inoperable or defective machine parts, components or systems using a small variety of test equipment.
: Will be required to undertake thorough inspections of accident damaged machines and produce accurate reports to enable repair.
: In this mobile HGV Technician/Mechanic / Fitter role you will be working on customer sites with or without workshop facilities being available for use
: On call circa 1 in 6/7 weeks
Experience/skills required for the Mobile HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter
: Qualifications in heavies (City and Guilds, NVQ and / or IRTEC)
: Previous experience working on a range of heavy goods vehicles
: Any previous mobile HGV Technician/Mechanic / Fitter experience would be beneficial
: Any experience gained working on GSE would be an advantage
: Full UK valid driving licence as the role is mobile and paid door to door
: Be based in Bristol
