MTEC are currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer for a manufacturer located in Staffordshire.
The Quality Engineer will be responsible for supporting customers with product quality related issues and ensuring customer satisfaction. Further responsibilities include the following:
Responsibilities
* Understand production quality concerns and drive practical problem solving activities to resolve the issues.
* Ensure the correct quality standards are in place to assure the production processes are adhered to.
* Drive Quality basics in all production areas.
* Audit current production processes and new processes before SOP to detect non-conformities.
* Support the project team with the development and creation of Process FMEAs, Control plans, Quality instructions, checking fixture design, etc.
The successful candidate will have proven experience of carrying out 8D problem solving and dealing with external customers on a day to day basis.
Qualifications
* Proven experience of carrying out 8Ds/practical problem solving and dealing with external customers on a day to day basis.
* Ideally apprentice or HNC qualified, but candidates qualified by experience are encouraged to apply.
