We are working with a highly regarded, leading firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers with a strong presence across the UK. Their Winchester office is continuing to grow and is now looking to appoint an Audit Senior to strengthen the audit team.

Responsibilities
You will play a key role in the delivery of audit assignments, working closely with Managers and Partners while taking increasing responsibility for your own portfolio.
Key duties will include:
* Leading and executing audit fieldwork, primarily on-site at client premises
* Planning audits, identifying key risk areas, and ensuring work is fully and accurately documented
* Preparing statutory financial statements from client records
* Completing audits for Manager and Partner review
* Supervising, coaching, and supporting junior team members
* Building strong, long-term relationships with clients
* Contributing to the achievement of team revenue and profitability targets
Requirements
* ACA or ACCA qualified, but part-qualified candidates with the necessary experience, nearing the end of their studies will also be considered.
* At least 2 years’ audit experience within a UK accountancy practice
* Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and auditing standards
* Experience leading audits.
* High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
* Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
* Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff
Benefits
* Salary circa £40,000 - £47,000, depending on experience and qualification status
