Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the hospitality industry, with a focus on food preparation and service. As a leader, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer experiences while managing staff and third party vendors effectively, and maintaining high standards of customer service and guest experience
Responsibilities
* Oversee all aspects of daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
* Manage and supervise floor and bar staff
* Liaise with third party vendors to ensure customer satisfaction is met
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations.
* Develop and implement training programmes for new employees
* Complete daily/weekly tasks such as staff rota, cash up, monitor inventory levels, oversee the Epos system, manage enquiries for bookings and corporate events and more
* Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership practices.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to promote special events and menu offerings.
* Conduct regular performance evaluations of staff to encourage professional growth and development.
* Ensure procedures are being adhered to, to the highest level
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a managerial role within the restaurant or hospitality sector.
* Strong food & beverage knowledge
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
* Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations
* Previous experience in kitchen management is an advantage.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and customers alike.
* A passion for delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
