Job Overview
Project Manager within the Health Boards Digital, Data & Technology Directorate, working on the Technical Delivery project in the Digital Community Programme. Responsible for managing small and medium‑sized projects following PRINCE2 methodology and supporting larger programmes.
Responsibilities
* Plan, execute, monitor and close projects to quality, time and cost standards.
* Support large scale projects, providing task management, risk and issue management, progress reporting and maintaining documentation.
* Manage work packages, ensuring deliverables align with requirements, coordinate with suppliers and in‑house teams.
* Provide training and mentoring on the local Project Management Framework and Microsoft Office 365 tools.
* Lead project teams and workstreams to deliver technical requirements.
* Produce results that meet benefits and performance improvements defined in the business case.
Qualifications and Knowledge
* Degree level or equivalent knowledge and experience.
* PRINCE2 Foundation or equivalent project management experience.
* Knowledge of IT implementation processes and digital health systems.
* Understanding of change management, quality improvement and transformation.
* Awareness of information governance, GDPR, risk analysis, data standards and statutory reporting.
* Evidence of relevant continuous professional development.
Desirable Criteria
* PRINCE2 Practitioner, ITIL or equivalent.
* Knowledge of agile methodology, procurement law, training methodologies.
* Experience influencing decision making at all organisational levels.

* Implementing digital projects in complex environments.
* Project management with financial and budget control.
* Leading and motivating teams.

* Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Teams, Project).
