Overview
This exciting role is an opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced individual to utilise their leadership and musculoskeletal skills as part of our established MSK Physiotherapy service. Working as a highly specialist MSK Physiotherapist and Team Leader of the department, the post is based at Bromyard Community Hospital in Herefordshire and involves managing an adult caseload of MSK patients across acute and chronic conditions in primary and secondary care. A development programme supports progression of the MSK service within Herefordshire, with clinical and managerial leadership within the MSK department.
Responsibilities
* Provide clinical leadership within the MSK department and lead a team of specialist physiotherapists, advanced practitioners and FCP colleagues.
* Manage an adult MSK caseload across a spectrum of acute and chronic conditions in both primary and secondary care.
* Deliver a high quality service with advanced clinical reasoning for patients with diverse and complex presentations.
* Participate in local and national research and audit; identify and initiate improvements across the wider MSK service.
Location and Team
The post is based at Bromyard Community Hospital, Herefordshire, within a committed and progressive MSK team working to develop the service in collaboration with local partners as part of Wye Valley NHS Trust.
