We are a leading utility company working on long‑term utility framework contracts and are looking to bring in a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to support and drive project performance.
Key Essentials
* Reporting to the Managing Q.S; manage commercial aspects across utilities projects.
* Administer NEC contracts, taking the lead on change management, compensation events, and variations.
* Perform cost forecasting, reporting, and cash flow management.
* Liaise with project teams, clients, and subcontractors.
* Support procurement and subcontract management.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 2 years of practical experience.
* Background in the utilities sector (power, water, telecoms, or civils).
* Strong NEC contract knowledge, particularly change/compensation events.
* Confident user of MS Excel.
* Commercially aware, organised, and proactive.
* Ambition to develop and progress within a growing business.
Salary up to £50k, mileage allowance, stakeholder pension, life assurance, and 28 days holiday.
