Job Overview
Band 7 Senior Rotational Clinical Pharmacist
The Royal Berkshire Pharmacy department is passionate about developing an excellent clinical pharmacy service and is looking for enthusiastic, innovative and self-motivated pharmacists to join our team.
Working in the Royal Berkshire Pharmacy department, you will be given the opportunity to rotate across various specialties, spending enough time to engage with the multidisciplinary clinical team and make a difference.
Main duties of the job
As a band 7 rotational clinical pharmacist, you will be part of the pharmacy clinical ward team to help deliver a high quality specialist service to our patients and the MDT. We will support in developing your leadership, management and mentoring skills with an opportunity to lead on projects and support others.
Each post has an extended rotation of 1 year with management and project opportunities- including Gastroenterology & Renal medicine, ICU, Acute Admissions, Cardio-pulmonary medicine, Children's and Women's Services, Surgery &Trauma, Care of Elderly, Education and Training.

Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities
The Pharmacist is responsible for professional aspects of the day-to-day pharmaceutical service provided by the Trust.
To work closely with other members of the pharmacy team to provide a clinical pharmacy service to wards and to assist in developing pharmaceutical services.
Deputise for the Clinical Lead in their absence.
