Our client, based at Unit 5 Beech Court, Fenstanton, is excited to expand their team with the addition of a Head Pastry Chef. This is a full-time position that offers a fantastic opportunity for anyone passionate about patisserie.

Are you the right person for the job?
The relevant candidate should have experience as a pastry chef or a Head pastry chef
Be familiar with making pastries and petit gateaux, competent with chocolate work and be able to manage a team
Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills and a positive attitude
Attention to detail and a passion for the craft
Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and design pastry menus
Ensure consistent taste, presentation, and quality of all pastries by maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in the kitchen
Efficiently manage ingredient inventory, place orders, and monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or wastage
What will your role look like?
Prepare a variety of baked goods, including pastries, Petit Gateaux, chocolates and cakes
Follow recipes and maintain high standards of quality and presentation
Assist in managing inventory and ensuring a clean, organised workspace
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain efficient workflows
Contribute creative ideas for new products and seasonal offerings
