OA are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our client’s growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the receipt of goods, safe storage of products, order picking, packing and preparing items for despatch in line with company procedures.

Salary: £13.10 per hour

Warehouse Operative Key Responsibilities
5. Receive, store, pick, pack and despatch products in line with company procedures
6. Operate automated warehouse systems, handheld scanners and warehouse management systems
7. Load and unload vehicles manually or using MHE (FLT)
8. Maintain high levels of accuracy when picking and processing orders
9. Carry out inventory checks and support effective stock rotation
10. Identify damaged or missing stock and report issues accordingly
11. Palletise goods safely for transportation
12. Meet agreed productivity targets and KPIs
13. Promote and maintain a safe and compliant working environment
14. Support continuous improvement and assist with training new team members
Warehouse Operative Skills and Experience
15. Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is advantageous
16. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
17. Good time management with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
18. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
19. Good verbal communication skills with basic written and numeracy ability
20. Comfortable using computers, handheld devices and warehouse systems
21. FLT licence desirable but not essential as training can be provided
22. Flexible attitude to working hours and shift patterns
