Overview
The Symptomatic Breast Clinic is a busy outpatient service delivering a variety of specialist Breast clinics, including triple assessment clinic for urgent suspected cancer referrals from GP's and the Humberside Breast Screening service. The Senior Outpatient Health Care Support Worker will assist the Registered Practitioner in the delivery of safe, high‑quality clinical care to patients at all times. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us on a permanent part‑time basis. You will be a pivotal member of the team, assisting and supporting the registered nurses and surgeons in the running of clinics, acting as a patient advocate to ensure the patients received a high‑quality consultation.

Responsibilities
* Chaperone patients during clinical examinations and procedures.
* Assist with breast biopsies.
* Apply basic dressings.
* Perform venepuncture.
* Obtain and record vital signs.
* General housekeeping.
Qualifications
Must be flexible in approach to work, with previous evidence of effective team working. Be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbally and written. Be adaptable and able to lead and embrace change, whilst ensuring patient safety is always maintained.
