Position: Material Handler Location: Dungannon Reporting to: Production Supervisor Hours of Wor k: 39 hours per week What you will do You will play a pivotal role within the Materials team to handle and move material in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring there is a seamless flow of material between production and store areas. Main Duties & Responsibilities Efficient and timely handling of all materials Support Production through timely and accurate delivery of Parts Use of PIT in a safe and efficient manner including Counterbalance, Reach Truck, Pallet Stacker, Tugger Truck etc. Processing of Parts received to both Production and Stores Prompt and accurate control of paperwork Loading and Unloading of Materials deliveries Compliance with inventory control measures Compliance with internal environmental and waste management procedures Following Standard Work procedures General Housekeeping Duties What you will bring Previous experience of working in a fast moving manufacturing environment in a similar role Valid PIT licence, preferably Counterbalance IT literate – previous experience of MRP style system would be advantageous Understanding of Inventory Control This above description is non-exhaustive and there may be additional duties in accordance with the role.
