Learn more. The EMEA Event Marketing Planner role sits within the Event Marketing team. You will be responsible for executing approved regional event marketing plans and serving as the lead planner for regional industry events. Industry event planning includes fulfilling marketing deliverables, coordinating logistics and on-site presence, and bringing the ISC2 brand to life across the region. You will be detail-oriented and a collaborative team player who takes ownership of their responsibilities and works constructively with internal and external partners. In addition, you will support the execution of in-person, virtual, and hybrid ISC2 events as assigned, working in close partnership with Event Marketing, Events, and cross-functional teams. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commutable distance to London, ideally within 1-2 hours, for attendance at events. Event Planning Serve as the lead planner and project owner for assigned regional industry events and tradeshows, including planning timelines, marketing deliverables, vendor coordination, on-site execution, and post-event follow-up Coordinate booth logistics, shipping, on-site staffing schedules, event materials, and vendor requirements to ensure a strong ISC2 presence Partner cross-functionally across Marketing, Communications, Creative, Membership and Sales to ensure consistent messaging, booth readiness, and fulfillment of partner deliverables Provide execution support for assigned regional events, including SECURE events, workshops and webinars Create effective, informative and engaging talking points for on-site and/or online moderators, booth reps, session coordinators and brief the team on talking points, the schedule and help level-set expectations Assist with the development of our annual industry event strategy, co-marketing agreement negotiations, and paid partner relationships Event Marketing Execution & Campaign Support Execute integrated event marketing campaigns across digital, email, social, paid media, and third-party channels in alignment with approved plans Support pre- and post-event marketing efforts, including content coordination, asset deployment, lead capture, and follow-up communications Provide execution support for campaign elements such as email, website landing pages, social posts, videos, talking points, and on-site messaging Work closely with marketing colleagues, internal partners, and regional management to support the execution of marketing plans for regional events to drive awareness and registrations, including but not limited to digital and email marketing, social, PPC, third-party and co-marketing agreements, website content, giveaways, etc. Budget & Reporting Responsible for reporting on the overall effectiveness of event marketing campaigns and programs, recommend appropriate adjustments (media mix and consumer targeting strategies) to improve results based on experience, data, and analytics; uses A/B testing when appropriate Manage each event within budget and track all costs Other Responsibilities Monitor event trends, technologies and best practices to support continuous improvement. Perform other duties as assigned Manage regional event materials and merchandise inventory, and arrange printing and shipment as needed Upload registrations and lead lists for events and trade shows correctly into Salesforce at the agreed-upon pre-event intervals and within 3 business days of receiving the final list Lead post-event activities, including post-event communications and lead distribution to relevant departments to ensure accurate follow-up Ensure all final documentation relating to the event is saved on the SharePoint drive Responsible for maintaining the ISC2 Internal events Calendar Assist with developing the annual industry event strategy and planning process Develop and maintain a working understanding of ISC2 certifications, membership value, products, and services to support effective member engagement and consistent event experience across in-person and virtual programs Other duties as assigned Must exhibit strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor to maintain business relationships with internal and external staff, members, partners, clients, and teams Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills; confidently articulate information professionally to individuals at all levels and with internal and external partners Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Excellent analytical skills Critical eye for compelling marketing copy and design Demonstrates strength in planning projects/events and working cross-functionally to meet business objectives Budget development and management Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment Excellent PC skills, including MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), internet and web applications/navigation, and social media knowledge Salesforce CRM, Google Analytics and CVENT knowledge a plus Global marketing and cultural awareness are a plus IT, cybersecurity, or association membership experience preferred Bachelor's degree in marketing, c ommunications, or a related field Minimum five years of relevant experience in Marketing or Events Up to 25% of travel.
