Furthermore inspect, service and maintain Groundforce equipment and depot assets to specified quality standards, as set down by the company.Key ResponsibilitiesWorking in the Depot under instructions from the Depot Foreman/Leadinghand to make equipment ready for hireLiaise with your line manager, to agree and understand our customers' requirements and ensure that the highest level of service is maintainedInspect, service and repair hydraulic hire equipment and depot assets in line with level of competency, to company procedures ensuring company policies and processes are followedAttend breakdown's of our equipment on customer sites to undertake the inspection, servicing and repair of our equipment where safe to do so and in line with level of competency, to company procedures ensuring company policies and processes are followedWhere deemed necessary, inspect, service and repair specified hire equipment and depot assets in line with level of competency, to company procedures ensuring company policies and processes are followedUse of pneumatic/electrical hand tools (full in-house training will be provided)Keep up to date and accurate service/inspection records at all timesIdentify and record damage of out of service equipmentDrive counter-balance or multi-directional forklift trucks to load/unload vehicles, move, prepare and store equipment (full in-house training will be provided)Use pressure washer to clean equipmentEnsure stock levels are accurately maintained and quality of equipment is kept in line with company quality standardsHave a positive attitude towards Health, Safety and the Environment reporting any issues to your supervisorMaintain your working environment to a high standard keeping clean and tidyOccasionally drive the depot vanWhen considered necessary or appropriate by management you may be required to carry out any duties considered within your skill and competence to assist the smooth running of the businessWhat we're looking forAbility to complete records, paperwork accurately is essentialCapability to use scanners, PDA's, tablets and computersHydraulic systems knowledge and ability to fault find is essentialA reasonable level of fitness is requiredTo be flexible, trustworthy and reliable and have excellent time keeping skills is essentialValid full clean driving licencePreferable skills:Customer service experienceKnowledge of shoring commercial operationsWorking knowledge of construction/housing/civil engineering industry advantageousKnowledge of shoring/hire industryMechanical experience would be advantageous but not essentialWhat we can offer youCompetitive salary25 days holiday, plus bank holidaysCycle to work schemeEmployee Assistance ProgrammeLife InsuranceEye care vouchersMy Vp DiscountsHoliday purchaseFlu vaccinationsCompany PensionA little bit about usGroundforce is the market-leading rental provider of excavation support systems and specialist products for the water, civil engineering, and construction industries.
