Job Description
What you'll do
With this role, you will be supporting a teenage boy with complex care needs in his home. He lives with his mum and attends school on a reduced timetable. Our client has cerebral palsy, epilepsy and learning difficulties. We are looking for a Registered Paediatric Nurse who will bring energy, empathy and enthusiasm to every shift.
You will be someone who values building strong relationships and providing high-quality and attentive care.
The key duties with this role include:
10. Seizure management
11. Peg feeding
12. Medication administration
13. Play therapy/stimulation
14. Personal care
15. Manual handling
16. Suction
Qualifications
What you'll need
17. Registered Childrens Nurse Diploma/Degree with an up-to-date NMC Pin
18. Commitment to providing the best possible care for the client
19. To be self-motivated, enthusiastic, caring, and compassionate
20. Previous paediatric nurse experience
21. Experience in peg feeding and catheter care is also essential.
