About the role:
Teach Now is looking for a dedicated Cover Supervisor to lead and manage classrooms across Key Stages 1 to 5. Whether you're an experienced cover supervisor or a teaching assistant ready to step up, this full-time, temporary role offers a fantastic opportunity to build experience and confidence in classroom leadership.
Key responsibilities:
• Lead and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher
• Ensure students remain engaged and on-task with pre-set lesson plans
• Support learners across Key Stages 1 to 5, including SEND and primary pupils
• Maintain classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
About you:
• A relevant qualification, such as a Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent)
• Strong communication, classroom management, and organisational skills
• A genuine enthusiasm for helping students succeed
• A proactive, flexible attitude and a desire to contribute to a collaborative school culture
