Care Assistants Live-in Position Shetland
Are you an experienced Healthcare assistant who has a passion for care work? This may be the role for you.
The role would require you to live in Shetland for 1 month to 6-week periods. Accommodation and travel all paid for. Work rota at care home, then home for a break!

Job Description: As a Care Assistant, you will provide essential support and care to our clients, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and wellbeing. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care tailored to the individual needs of each client.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
* Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
* Provide mobility support to help clients move around safely.
* Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
* Administer medication under the guidance and supervision of healthcare professionals.
* Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
* Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behaviour to the healthcare team.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a care role is essential (6 months minimum)
* A caring, empathetic, and patient nature with a strong desire to help others.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
