Role Overview
The role will support the Farm Manager and Assistant Farm Manager in the day‑to‑day operation of the poultry site, ensuring the highest standards of bird welfare, stock husbandry, flock performance, biosecurity, health & safety, and environmental compliance. It involves monitoring feed, water, temperature, ventilation, lighting, health treatments, mortality, alarms and equipment; maintaining accurate records and audit readiness; supporting bio‑security controls and pest management; assisting with staff coordination, training, inductions and bird movements; and helping maintain site presentation, cleanliness, waste disposal and basic maintenance, while controlling costs and developing the skills required to progress into a farm management role.
