Job Title: Category Regional Planner Location: Hybrid Paddington Remuneration: £22.00 per hour Contract Details: Temporary until June 30, 2026 Responsibilities: Lead in-region price match monitoring and execution, ensuring competitive pricing and minimising revenue risk. Own and streamline the process for price match requests, establishing clear ownership and rapid response. Manage channel-wide promotions input, including approvals and tactical execution, for timely promotional launches. Oversee onboarding/offboarding of products, ensuring efficient catalog management and documentation. Compile and submit category forecasts in partnership with Finance for regular CFO reviews and budgeting cycles. Drive demand signal management for launches and existing products within Integrated Business Planning (IBP), ensuring accurate inventory forecasting. Maintain and update outlook, CFO budget, and provide weekly updates for finance and leadership. Monitor inventory threshold alerts, taking timely action on low stock and liaising with supply chain/channel ops. Provide planning inputs for holiday and launch events, supporting data tracking and leadership decision-making. Act as a trusted advisor to the Online Stores community, building credibility to help land key priorities. Required Skills & Experience: Proven experience in category management, merchandising, or retail operations, ideally within consumer electronics or gaming. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a knack for identifying gaps and driving improvements. Familiarity with pricing strategy, promotions, and catalog management tools (e.g., SWAT, Castle SKU Management). Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail. Experience in demand planning, inventory management, and financial reporting is highly desirable. Key Success Factors: Ownership and accountability for category management processes.
